I just replaced both mosfets in my 991 as it FINALLY gave out. I bought it a few months before the 991A came out. One side (the blown side) was showing zero amps, and the other was 1.65. I followed your video for the repair but set the bias to 1.1. I think stock is supposed to be 1.2. I know for sure 1.65 is way off. 😀 It was either send it back to Yaesu and wait for 2 (or more) months to get it back, or do it myself in a few hours. The longest part was waiting for the new MOSFETs to arrive. The repair itself was pretty easy. Thanks for making this video.

When a transistor fails in this equipment, does it also affect vhf and uhf band / I have a ft 991 and one of the 2 final transistors burned out, it only produces half the power but also in vhf and uhf the power decreased. 73 k3ibm

Lady holdsworth of the big house next to the church used to ride her horse down there ..i have an edwardian picture of her on her horse ..she was well off but realy involved with local people helping them survive tough times she was a great freind of my great Grandmothers ....and my grt Grandad in the 1920s with his freinds when they were shut out the mines during a strike...soup kitchens and local charities helped feed the men's families at home they dug a coal mine near the Dosher ..waterfall long filled in by the metal bridge to get coal to cook with and heat there homes ...i have a picture of that as well .I spent all my school holidays summers down Springfields ..playing in and around claylane Brook..I remember the big lake being excavated..and filled with water ! From the dosher ! And not forgetting tidlecock Ally 😆 lol Thanks for sharing.

Born in claycross My old school from the infants to juniors 1968 to 1973 .Mr Hardwick was the Head master ! My great grandma and great grandads my grans and mams and aunties and uncles school too. Shame they couldn't use the old buildings for community use .sign of the times I guess .thanks for sharing with us. Does anyone know what the lands going to be used for in the future ?

Nice. The Elm Tree is now Flats. The Bus station is a good addition in my opinion. Tesco is ok. The Aldi is good also. Not so sure on how many pharmacies Clay cross needs same as The amount of take away's and hair dressers and tattoo Places. No New shops opening with a variety. Just the same old shops.

A favourite place. We used to walk here as a family from Danesmoor as a child. They used to roll easter eggs down the hill at the rear many years ago. Love asher rock.
